Welcome! You have found the blog/site of Daz Vickers, DazBlade, from the UK. I currently work as a Support Technician for a UK based hosting company and live in Nottingham in the UK. My passion is football, Computing and my family. Possibly not in that order…

I have been a Sheffield United fan for 24 years and very passionate about them and football in general. Am also a big fan of F1 Grand Prix Motor Racing and Horse Racing.

My computing interests are many and varied from software development to simply browsing the world wide web. I enjoy playing Counter Strke Source (CSS). So if you like to play CSS online then lookout for DarkWarrior… and watch your backs, coz I will be! Also, to a lesser degree, Championship Manager hits the spot.

Which brings me nicely to my operating system of choice: LINUX, more specifically Fedora 7 (moonshine). My LINUX interest has really developed over the last 3 months or so. I have installed it on all but one of my computers but that will not be left out =;-) I am currently configuring my main desktop as a central server and building my own mini wireless LAN (Local Area Network). In fact, I have been progressively transferring my Windows skills & knowledge over to LINUX and only now use Windows just for playing my games.
