High Court? More Like Caught High!
Friday, July 13th, 2007Well, I’ve just heard the disheartening news that the so called High Court as made the decision to deny my beloved Sheffield United their very valid appeal to the injustice against them towards the end of last season.
I mean, we are not asking for anything that is not deserved, are we? The grievance against West Ham is not “alleged”, they actually broke the rules, fact! They know it, we know it, the whole world of football knows it, I mean, how do they get away with something so blatant?
Some may argue that we (sheff utd) should be relegated as we did not play well enough to stay up. Well, on the face of it that would seem a fair point. But lets examine that in a bit more detail – ie: Irrellevant of how poorly we played or how poorly they played come to think of it, the simple fact is they broke the rules, they SHOULD have been deducted points and we would have finished above them on goal difference (assuming they were only docked 3 points). It is so obvious, where is the justice in that?
I think I’ll leave it that, for now anyway.
